Precise2care’s Youth Mentoring program focuses on building confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections. Led by our expert mentor, Dissen, who has over 5 years of experience assisting individuals with ASD and Autism, we provide supportive, tailored services that help young participants understand their strengths and engage fully with their world.

Meet Your Mentor: Dissen

Our Youth Mentoring is uniquely effective because itโ€™s led by someone who understands and connects quickly with young people. Dissen, an ex-Youth football coach, Personal Trainer, and experienced Support Worker, is 25 years old and excels at building fast rapport through shared interests. He assists young individuals with a wide range of services, focusing on genuine connection and positive goal achievement.

This section is dedicated to developing the crucial skills needed for greater independence, self-management, and safety as young participants grow.

Focus: Building independence, organizational skills, and self-care routines.

What We Offer:

  • Routine Building: Assistance in establishing daily routines (e.g., morning and bedtime structure) to reduce anxiety and promote stability.

  • Self-Care & Hygiene: Support with personal care tasks, grooming, and understanding the importance of personal hygiene.

  • Organizational Skills: Help managing personal spaces, organising school or work materials, and maintaining household tidiness.

  • Healthy Habits: Guidance on nutrition, meal preparation basics, and understanding physical well-being.

Connecting successfully with the wider community is vital for a participant’s development. Our goal is to make accessing and navigating community spaces feel safe, confident, and rewarding.

Focus: Gaining confidence, managing public interactions, and navigating community services.

What We Offer:

  • Public Transport Training: Supported travel training to help participants use buses, trains, or other services safely and independently.

  • Service Navigation: Assistance visiting and utilizing community resources like libraries, post offices, health services, and government centers.

  • Appointment Support: Supported attendance at appointments (e.g., medical, dental, therapy) to ensure understanding and comfortable participation.

  • Shopping Skills: Practical support with grocery shopping, comparing prices, and appropriate social interactions with vendors.
